FROSTED GLASS PANES, MIRRORS, SILK SCREENS, PROJECTION, SKYRIM. 2017

WHILST EXPLORING MEMORIES INSIDE A VIRTUAL WORLD, I BEGAN STUDYING HOW TO BREAK UP THE 'SCREEN' - I.E, THE RECTANGLE WE ARE ALL SO FAMILIAR WITH. TO DO SO I PROJECTED MY VIRTUAL WORLD ONTO A LARGE WALL AND USED PANES OF GLASS, SILK SCREENS AND MIRRORS TO INTERRUPT THE STREAM OF LIGHT AND REFRACT THE IMAGE OUT OF THE RECTANGLE INTO THE ROOM, THEREBY FRACTURING THE SCREEN. THE VIRTUAL WORLD I PROJECTED WAS THAT OF ELDER SCROLLS: SKYRIM, AS THAT IS A WORLD THAT I INHABIT SECONDARY TO REALITY IN WHICH I HAVE MANY MEMORIES.
